The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) exists to ensure fair workplace practices for all demographics of employees. To ensure compliance, employers must file an EEO-1 Component 1 Form for the previous year by May 31, 2019. The survey is to be completed annually by employers with at least 100 employees, and federal contractors with at least 50 employees and a contract of $50,000 or more.
As May 31 draws closer, here's what employers need to collect to be within EEO-1 compliance.
